There is nothing more important than steering young lives in the right direction. The Daytop New Jersey program is highly respected and very successful. Services involve every aspect of a teen's life: family, education, behavior, mental and physical health, recreational and vocational rehabilitation.
Daytop is committed to its teens. That commitment is expensive and funding sporadic. Daytop New Jersey relies on the time and generosity of others to continue its existence. Although the family of the adolescent is responsible for their share of payment for services, the majority of Daytop funding is from other sources. This includes state and county grants, corporate sponsors, private donations, and our fundraising events.
Treatment is never denied due to inability to pay.
Each Spring Daytop NJ sponsors a Dinner. For a look at past dinners, click on Past Events. If you would like to be included on the invitation list please contact us.
Email us to request an invitation, for more information, or if you are unable to attend an event but would like to make a contribution.
Governor Christine Todd Whitman and Senator Anthony Bucco present Daytop-NJ Vice President Joseph H. Hennen with a check for $400,000 on December 15, 1999. This special legislative appropriation was achieved by Senator Bucco to enhance and expand the treatment of adolescent females.
